African safari landscape at golden hour

Our story

Two people. One obsession.

We are Sebastian and Freyja — and Africa got under our skin a long time ago.

How it began

Africa got under our skin. We never tried to shake it.

We are Sebastian and Freyja — and between us, we have spent years immersed in Southern Africa's most extraordinary landscapes. From the Sabi Sands and Greater Kruger to the waterways of the Okavango Delta, the plains of Namibia, the falls at Victoria Falls, and the vineyards of the Cape, these places are not just destinations to us. They are places we know deeply and love completely.

Over time, we have built close relationships with the lodges, camps, and operators who make these regions what they are. We understand what each property does exceptionally well — the guides who are outstanding, the camps that suit families, the lodges that are made for photography, the experiences that are worth the journey.

Mr & Mrs Safari grew from a simple idea: that the best safari is one planned by people who genuinely know the region, understand the lodges, and care about getting it right for you. That is what we offer — not a catalogue, but a conversation.

How we work

A few things we believe in

01

Deep regional knowledge

We know Southern Africa's safari regions intimately — the Sabi Sands, Greater Kruger, Okavango Delta, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe & Zambia, Namibia, and the Cape. We understand the seasons, the wildlife, the differences between areas, and what each one offers at its best.

02

Strong lodge relationships

We have built genuine relationships with the lodges and operators we work with. We know what each property does exceptionally well — the guides, the style, the experience — and we match that carefully to what you are looking for.

03

No two journeys are the same

We do not offer packages. We build each itinerary from scratch, around you — your pace, your interests, the kind of mornings you want to wake up to.

04

We care about what happens after you leave

The places we love are under pressure. We work only with operators who take conservation seriously, and a portion of every booking goes directly to wildlife and community projects in the regions we travel.
